Dear Mr. Carr,
On Wednesday, November 29, 2000, RAM Flight Test Pilots got the first
demonstration of the Quiet Flight electronic cabin and noise system in a
RAM Series VI Cessna 340A with Q-tip propellers, N87486 is a 1981
aircraft owned by Mr. Roland Rice of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Flown into Waco, Texas by Dean Rushfeldt of Quiet Flight, Two RAM Pilots
conducted a one hour flight test of the system. No matter what flight
configuration .... full power climb, slow flight, steep turns and high
speed decent (including having the propellers in or out of sync)...the
system never lost stability. In all cases, all on board could converse
more easily throughout the airplane with the system on.
The
reduction of both the noise decibel level and the noise vibration
pressure made this a most pleasant 340 flight.
RAM
does believe Quiet Flight has taken a major step in cabin noise
reduction and enhancement of flight comfort with its technology. We are
pleased to offer this letter of support.
Best of luck with your new venture,
signed
Doug MacKay
Executive Vice-President
